Welcome to EPIDOGS-Canada for EPI in Dogs
This website was created to educate and help people who have EPI dogs. Diagnosed or not yet with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency disease. We can also help you if your dog has stomach problems, diarrhea, sensitive stomachs, etc.
Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency.
You can see the symptoms of this disease HERE. Understand how to feed your EPI in Dogs HERE
You will find on this site, answers, questions, testimonials, tips and tricks to help stabilize your dog.
Unfortunately, even today, many vets are still unfamiliar with EPI disease. Several of them will give you several tests that will not address your concerns. Testing plus testing ultimately puts a strain on your finances. However, the symptoms are very specific to the disease. Diarrhea, yellowish or dark mustard-colored stools, very oily stools, strong appetite, and weight loss.
Our goal:
The purpose of this website is to help you orient yourself and help you make the right decisions, to do the right tests in a veterinary clinic, for the well-being of your dog and that of your finances. Tell your veterinarians as much as possible about this website. So, it’s important to reach out to as many people as possible so that the symptoms of a dog with EPI, are as accessible to everyone. A dog with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, treated well, can live a beautiful, long life.
A new Veterinary Section is currently under construction. EPI’s disease is not a very well-known disease. Unfortunately, many vets just don’t know her. With the new veterinary section, you will be able to refer your veterinarian to this section so that he can read it. We do not replace your veterinarian, but we help direct you to the right tests to give your dog all the chances on his side.
